Learn Tunisian Crochet - 12TH APR 2025
TUNISIAN CROCHET CLASS with RETRO NANNA (18yo+)
"Love the look of knitting but can only crochet? Tunisian crochet has a unique woven appearance resembling a knitted look. Perfect for the crocheter!”
WHAT IS TUNISIAN CROCHET ?
Unlike regular crochet, Tunisian crochet works like knitting. You keep multiple stitches on the hook and then work them out. Each row is worked in two parts: the forward pass, where stitches are picked up and kept on the hook, and the return pass, where stitches are worked off the hook. Tunisian Crochet uses a special crochet hook/needle that is longer than a standard crochet hook allowing the stitches from each row to sit on the needle. It can be either a fixed/stright needle or a hook that attaches to a cable, the cable style of hook allows for much larger projects.
