Opal

For over 30 years Opal yarns company has been developing particularly high quality hand knitting yarn in Germany. As a family business, they have specialized in the last few years on the production of well known Opal sweater and sock wool. The common composition of Opal yarn is 75% wool / 25% polyamide in different thread sizes (4-ply, 6-ply and 8-ply). But also other compositions with polypropylene, cotton, silk or bamboo are made. In order to meet high quality standards, they dye, wash and finish their yarns in Hechingen under strict quality controls. Opal sweater and sock yarn is pure knitting pleasure.
