BEGINNERS KNITTING - PART 2 - with Amy Myers ( 12yo+ )
This is a "beginner level" class suitable for those who have some basic experience with knitting stitches (knit/purl). Maybe a friend has helped you with your first project you have completed our "Absolute Beginners" class and ready to learn some "more knitting skills" so that you can continue to develop your confidence with starting and finishing projects ?
Location: Skein Machine Yarn Store, 3/276 Shepherds Hill Rd, Eden Hills, Adelaide, 5050
YOU WILL LEARN:
* Learn to Cast On stitches
* Learn to Cast Off stitches ( aka bind off )
* Learn about Frogging ( required to fix problems earlier in your project )
* Tinking ( required to fix problems earlier in your current row or previous rows ).
STUDENTS TO BRING:
* 4mm Knitting Needles ( can be 2 x straight needles or 1 x circular needle )
* Any DK (8ply) yarn, pre-wound into a ball ready to use.
NOTE: If you plan to purchase needles and yarn prior to the class please arrive 30 mins early so there is enough time for us to wind the ball ahead of the class.
