Malarkey Beanie Pattern - Download
When I started dyeing my own yarn, I started to appreciate it more.
It has made me want to knit a series of patterns that are not just interesting to knit, but also show off the yarn as much as possible. I love the decrease, it looks almost like a spinders web.
Well here is the first one. A simple but eye catching beanie, that is simple to knit. The pattern will also give you some tips that you can keep with you forever.

The Pattern: The pattern has information, and instructions for 4 sizes. This is a written pattern. There is also the option of a folded or non-folded brim.
Stitches: Knit, Purl, Cast on, simple decreases and notes on PJOG which is to decrease the jog on the garter row at the change of each row.
Materials: Using DK yarn, a medium beanie with a roll brim you will need approximatley 80g.
Needles I used 3.75mm for the brim and 4mm for the rest of the body. When decreasing you will need needles in 4mm for your preferred method when the beanie gets smaller.
Yarn quantities are approximate due to personal tension and yarn variations.
